Blog Assignment 5- The Gulf Oil Spill
Friday we watched a video over the Gulf Oil Spill tragedy that happened last year. In at least 5 sentences tell me what was the Deepwater Horizon, what happened to it, why was the spill so hard to contain, is there anyone to blame for it, and how has the spill affected America? The Deepwater Horizon was an oil rig that had sparked and exploded. It was hard to contain because it exploded for one, and there was so much oil spilling out. There wasnt anyone really to blame but the company who owned the rig because they werent careful. It affected America because we had to spend alot of money to buy the stuff to try to get the oil maintained. It also affected by harming alot of clean water.

An oil rig called the Deepwater horizon failed and gas came out and it burned up. Now oil was seeping out all over the gulf. It was hard to get it contained because it was so far underwater they could not reach it. I think it was the creators fault. It affected america because the gulf was polluted for so long and it cost over a billon dollars.

The Deepwater Horizon is an oil rig where oil seeped out the way it shouldn't have and exploded killing only a few people. IT was sooo hard to ceap contained because they didn't have much time so they couldn't think of anything that worked and it was so far below the surface people could die there. God is to balme for it but in a nice way it was his plan to probably help his believers by doing so. It affected America by putting oil in the Gulf where wildlife and marinelife die and we cant swim in the water and for Louisianna marshes and seafood.

The Deep Water Horizon is an oil rig that is in the Gulf of Mexico. There was a blowout which caused a great amount of oil to spill.They were unsuccesful for many times. They later came up with a hole that leaked cement. It worked and the spill stopped. Then they had to clean it up. They took little gates to stop the oil. That worked and now it is all cleaned up.

The Deep Water Horizon is an oil rig that is located in the Gulf of Mexico.The good thing is only a few dad which is still bad but not as bad as like 350 people.It was very complicated to keep contained because it was far down below the surface.I think that the people to blame are the ones that were running it at that time because maybe they could have done something to stop this disaster from happening.It was very bad bacause it killed a lot of marinecreatures which contained stuff that we eat like fish,crab,oysters and many other edible seafood substances.We also couldnt swim it the ocean which was a big drop for the Galveston beaches are because it is the Gulf of Mexico.

The Deep Water Horizon is an oil rig that had a gigantic explosion. It is located in the Gulf of Mexico. Few died during this incident. The people to blame are the peeps in charge of safety and the people running the oil rig, but honestly I don't think anyone could do anything about it. The oil killed many birds and marine life. The oil spread to Galveston. So all we could do is wait.

the deepwater horizon was a big oil rig. I think there is the people who made the deepwater horizon. It's so hard to contain cause i think alot of ships need to suck up the oil. it is affecting all of the animals in that part of the gulf.people need to eat those animals and that is affecting us.

i think that the oil spill is really in reality it is man made and all man made things eventully fail. the deep water horizen is a really big oil rig . it exploded and killed people . it really affected america by hurting all the wild life in the radies of the oil spill. i think that the spill was so hard to contain because it is like a mile below sea level.

The Deepwater Horizen is a large oil rig that exploded with oil. It killed a few people and it poluted the area killing tons of innocent wildlife and causting us tons of money.I dont blame anyone for this, but I do think the BP should have cleaned it up faster. It was hard for the BP to fix because it was almost 5,000 feet down. They finally made a plan to use cement to clog up the oil spill and stop the leak.

The Deep Water Horizon is an oil rig in the Gulf.What had happened is a oil rig in the Gulf exploded.The spill was hard to contain because something on the rig became unattached.The BP Oil company is to blame for drilling into the Gulf.
