Blog Assignment 3- Illegal Immigration
Today in class we discussed the issue of illegal immigration. Illegal immigration is a very opinionated subject in America and has been at the center of many political debates. Your blog assignment is to post at least seven sentences saying what an illegal immigrant is, why illegal immigration is a problem, who you think is to blame for it, what is being done to stop it, and should the U.S. continue to put money into preventing immigration(why?) or could there be another solution (if so what?). Use examples from your hand out I gave you if you can. The links to the sites I got the info from are below as well as another link with articles about illegal immigration.

My thoughts are that illegal immigrants are people who come into America illegally from other countries. It is becoming a big problem because its against the law, it can get people hurt, and they will bring bad things like drugs to our country. I might think Obama and the government could do better at stopping this but in reality there isn't many people to blame so why go saying "Oh hes not doing anything". People as said in the vid we watched are patrolling the Mexican border with keen security cameras and keen helicopters and people on land. And I think we should and shouldn't put money to stop it. Yes because if government and politics actually stand up and really say this has to end then sure. But no because they wont stand up and next thing ya know people are crossing borders right under our eyes.

An illegal immigrant is someone who comes to the country from another country and doesnt register to be a citizen. Illegal immigration is a problem because some people bring drugs over and you dont know if that is what they want to do. I dont really think anyone is to blame for illegal immigration exept for the immigrants. people are patroling the border and use a military jet plane to try to prevent illigal immigration. I dont think the US should put money into preventing it as much as they do. They dont need to waste the money that could be used to help charities. It is not that big of a deal to go do the papers to become a citizen that is why I think the immigrants dont need to sneek across the border!

An illegal immigrant is a person who travels to the U.S. to live here without the government's permission. Illegal immigration is a problem because the people who move to the U.S. illegally can get free medical care and free education. They can get jobs and that takes jobs from a legal residents. The immigrants also sometimes bring drugs to the U.S. and other illegal things. They could also be terrorists. I think it is partly the government's fault because they could give more money to protect the border so they could make the wall of the border longer and hire more people. People are watching the border so they can catch the illegal immigrants and send them back to their own country. The U.S. should keep paying money because we need better border patrol and more high tech cameras and a longer wall to stop the immigrants. I think another solution is to make the people who come into the U.S. have to pay taxes and for medical care and education. Congress should also make laws for no illegal immigration. It is time to end illegal immigration.

I think illegal immigrants are people that come to America because they don't have enough money to come here legally. The other thing is people want to be here to have a better life. The problem is that not all the illegal immigrants come to the U.S. to do goods things, some of them come to sell illegal drugs. Others just come to take advantage of government services like welfare. The government is to blame because they don't let the right people come in the US. Not enough is being done to help people get in legally. Yes they should continue to try to solve the problem no matter what the cost is.

Illegal immigrants are people who sneak across the border to find a job or to sell drugs. The problem with illegal immigration is that there are millions of Mexicans coming to America every day. The people to blame for illegal immigration is Mexico's government.Mexicans wouldn't even be sneaking across the border if there where better jobs in Mexico. Thankfully scientist are coming up with different machines every day.However a easier solution would be to put better jobs in Mexico.Hopefully one day Mexicans won't have to sneak across the border,and they can tear down the border.

I think illegal immigrants are people that are looking for work and travel across the border for usually work or selling drugs. Illegal immigration is a problem because it could involve violence and other bad things. If people stop doing this stuff the world will be a better place. If there is any people to blame for this stuff is Mexico. They are not helping with what we are trying to do and they are really being a pain. On the other hand the US is doing everything they can to keep this from happening. With four-wheelers, predator planes, surveillance cameras, weapons, choppers, hummers, and many other ways to keep the US without illegal immigration. The US should blow forth all there money to pay for this. They should have Mexico get in part for paying or make this stop. The US should keep paying but should not make it out of hand.

If you ask me, I think that the mexican goverment. If they would start trying tocare a little more about their people then there would'nt be so many people risking their lives to get away from bad employment and other economical things.

Well,i'd have to say that illegal imagration is when a person from a different country comes to the you united states for buisness,better living,ect.I think that illegal imagration is a very serious problem,becuase these mexican imagrants are coming to our nation seeking to find our jobs that we could be doing,they are using our money because some of their kids get to go to school for free which of course we have to pay for.I specificaly think that it is the mexican goverment to blame.I think this becuase they could try to make there city better,they could try making stuff cheaper,they could really do anything that they can.I definataly think that we should be putting more money into this,i think that we should get shock fences so if they try to get in they will get shocked,or barbed wire floor so when they try to come their feet will get sliced up.I seriously think that they should have stuff like this because it will make them be like,"Hey this is really painful and dangerous, i am not gonna waist my time getting killed!"Thats why I strongly suggest these dangerous items.

I think that an illegal immigrant is someone who sneaks across the border to find a better life, get a better job or smuggle in drugs to make money. I can understand why some people want to come here to have a better life. I can also understand why it is a problem for America. We have to pay for people who have broken the law and are not even citizens. I do not like that this causes our country so much trouble. I would like to help innocent people who just need jobs. Obviously, I do not want people bringing drugs into our country. I hope our country can think of better way to protect our borders but also protect innocent people.

No because the Mexicans are selling drugs and if they just took the time to become an legal citizen they could make are life just a bit easier. Did you know that the taxes that we pay go to them to use as money so we are the ones paying for them.We are very generous to let them come to our universities and get and education and then go back to their country!

I think that illegal immigration is a bad thing because Mexicans can be selling drugs and they are sometimes ending up dead. The taxes that we pay are for them because we haft to pay the government the money for them so I think that the Mexicans should go back!
